Monolog v minulém čase (úloha 3 ústní zkoušky na trvalý pobyt) / Monologue in the past (task 3 of the oral exam for permanent residence)

Úloha vypadá takto:

Je tady jedna otázka: Co dělaly tyto ženy v pátek večer? A tři témata: Nakupování, restaurace, kultura a zábava. A poznámka: Musíte mluvit v minulém čase.  

That’s how the task looks like:

Here’s one question: What were these women doing on Friday night? And three topics: Shopping, restaurant, culture and entertainment. Note: You must speak in the past tense.

Moje tipy: 

• V této úloze může být muž, žena nebo dva lidé. Dejte lidem na obrázku jména. Bude to působit dobře a máte hezkou úvodní větu. Např. To je Jana a Alena.
• U jedné osoby používáme ON nebo ONA. U dvou osob máte dvě možnosti. Buď mluvit o obou dohromady a používat ONI nebo mluvit o každé zvlášť a používat ONA nebo ON. Můžete si vybrat, co se vám tvoří lépe. Výhodou obou osob je, že minulý čas je jednodušší, protože tyto osoby nepoužívají pomocné „jsem, jsi atd.“
• V zadání je MINULÝ ČAS, ALE NE VŠECHNO, o čem budete mluvit, bude v minulém čase. Obecné informace, např. Pavel má rád film. Eva má velkou rodinu., budou v přítomném čase, v minulosti by nedávaly smysl. Je potřeba u toho trochu přemýšlet 🙂 
• 1 minuta není dlouhá doba, proto vám budou stačit 3-4 věty ke každému tématu. Vy sami víte nejlépe, jak rychle mluvíte. Zkuste si proto stopnout 1 minutu.   

My tips:

• There can be a man, a woman or two people in this task. Give the people in the picture some names. It will look good and you have a nice opening sentence. E.g. This is Jana and Alena.
• There may be one or two people here. With one person it is clear, we use ON or ONA. For two people, you have two options. Either talk about both together and use ONI or talk about each of them separately and use ONA or ON. You can choose what works best for you. The advantage of both persons is that the past tense is easier because these persons do not use the auxiliaries „jsem, jsi, etc.“
• the assignment is PAST TENSE, BUT NOT EVERYTHING you talk about will be in the past tense. General information, e.g. Pavel likes movies. Eva has a big family. They will be in the present tense, they would not make sense in the past. You need to use your head a bit 🙂
• 1 minute is not a long time, so 3-4 sentences for each topic will be enough. You know best how fast you speak. So try to time yourself for 1 minute.
